Did you know?: The Honolulu-born Mars’ win this year marked the second of his career. Mars was nominated for four awards at the 56th GRAMMY Awards, including Song and Record Of The Year for his No. 1 hit ‘Locked Out Of Heaven.’

Mars performed the song on the 55th GRAMMY Awards with Sting as part of a tribute to Bob Marley. Unorthodox Jukebox, which peaked at No. 1, also features the Billboard Hot 100 hits “Gorilla” (No. 22), “Treasure” (No. 5) and the GRAMMY-nominated “When I Was Your Man” (No. 1). In addition to fellow Smeezingtons co-producers Ari Levine and Philip Lawrence, Mars’ collaborations on the album included work with GRAMMY-winning producers/songwriters Jeff Bhasker, Paul Epworth and Mark Ronson. Mars was named Billboard‘s Artist of the Year in 2013.

He will be the featured halftime show performer at Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2. Following a pair of dates in Las Vegas on Feb. 15–16, Mars will resume his Moonshine Jungle worldwide tour Feb. 28 in Perth, with dates scheduled through September.
